與上一篇一樣是回給微軟的Feedback
針對的是不同的Topic

Appearance and customization
I am a Windows XP user. I enjoy using traditional explorer interface.
I can customize it, I can have cut, copy paste icons large and easy to click.
Now in Win7(also Vista) I can't do these customizations.
Win7(also Vista) have icons and link-texts with small size.
I have to concentrate on moving the mouse very precisely to click those buttons and texts, while I should concentrate on file management.
I spand most concentration on operating the interface, but not doing productive activities.
I am a native Chinese Traditional user, and also a Japanese user.
I would like to change the language, to test if those menu texts looks fine, but I can't find them yet.
According to those experience in Vista(since the explorer interfaces doesn't change too much), the arrangment of layout is not comfortable.
- The left area shows too much thing make it too bad to use, but there's no way to customize it.
- I want to adjust the font size only in the left area just a little bigger, but there's no way to customize it.
- I might not have a homegroup if I am in office, but I can't remove it.
- I don't like the search bar, but I can't remove it.
- I want to give the tool bar(which have a "?" mark at right side) more verticle space thus the button will be easier to click, but I can't.
There are no "up" button in explorer interface(same in Vista).
Which is an extremely inconvenience. All of windows from Win95 to WinXP have this button, why did it disappeared?
I have to move my pointer up twice distence then before, waste time again.
The new address bar in explorer might be good to some people, but I just don't need it.
I want to custom it back to the old-good address bar in WinXP, and once again I can't change it.
Besides, why should I give up all of the usability experience started from Win95?
Why should I use a Ubuntu-like explorer interface in a Windows environment?
Maybe it is good, but I want my old XP interface back.
The power off function is better now(compare to Vista).
But I really miss the "Ask me what to do" option.
Please, People will do this faster if they use arrow key to select it.
At least much more better than using a mouse.
People won't always shut their computer in the same way, especially in the office. Please, let us choose more easily. Actually, this is a main reason I don't want to give up WinXP.
Please put the classic start menu back.
Yes, the new start menu is good, but this new design just done work when we have low screen resolution.
We dont't have a FullHD display all the time.
We sometime only have a 1024*600 screen on a Netbook.
I want to change the Ctrl+Alt+Del action, but I can't find a place to do it.
It is good to press Ctrl+Alt+Del only shows up Taskmanager.
I might need to reference it over 10 times in a day, but only lock up or log out for 1 or 2 times.
Just don't ask me to right click on the taskbar, this is not a good sample to use the mouse.
It is good to navigate icons with arrow keys.
But in Win7(also Vista), it always required some extra action.
Such as a mouse click or a tab stroke.
This does not do anything good but only annoying.
In WinXP, there's a feature that you may put an toolbar at the upside(also left or right) of the window, this is simple and easy to use, but disappear.
I have to find a 3rd party tool such as rocket dock to simulate it(I don't like it, sincerely).
<註:後來發現這個Feature還是在的,只是叫出來的方法不一樣>
Conclusion: less action to perform an job is better.
Too many action will make people tired and angry.
People just simply want to do what they should do fast and easy.
Please don't bother with "step by step and by steps...".
