Windows 7 測試心得1

前陣子把W7 Build 7000裝起來玩
其實有寫了一些Feedback回去給微軟

會不會被認真的參考不知道,不過總之給他Memo一下
對W7有興趣的順便也可以了解一下Beta的狀況

Search and File Managment

I am a Windows XP user. I enjoy using traditional explorer interface.
I can customize it, I can have cut, copy paste icons large and easy to click.
Now in Win7(also Vista) I can't do these customizations.

There are few ways for me to copy-pase:
1. right click -> click
2. click on organize -> click.

All of above usage require two steps, but in WindowsXP I just need to do one click. This waste a lot of time when I am organizing files.
Of course I can use keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+c & Ctrl+v.
Well, if so, why do I need a mouse?

I don't really like the search box, especially when I am using arrow keys navigating in explorer.
I have to move my hand away from keyboard to mouse, one click, and move my hand again back to keyboard from mouse, that really waste time and my hand get tired easily.
The double-click on Ctrl which Google Desktop uses is quite a good way, I like it.
